The 7th Annual Absolute Dance Nationals in Canada took place in 2005.

History[]

Little is known of this competition. However, what is known is that:

  • The female solo round was the first round, and was followed by the small group round.[Note 1]
  • Phoebe was the female soloist for The Next Step Dance Studio, and received one of the top five highest scores.[1]
  • The Next Step were eliminated in the small group round. One of their performers in this round was Kate.[2]

Notes[]

  1. In order for Phoebe to have been one of the top five female soloists, she would have had to dance. If the small group round was before the female soloist round, like it is at the 17th Annual Nationals, then Phoebe would have been unable to perform. Additionally, since it is explicitly mentioned that The Next Step Dance Studio has advanced further than they ever have before after winning the small group round at the 17th Annual Nationals, it can be deduced that even though the female solo round happened earlier, the small group round was still the second round.
