Breakdance (alternatively called b-boying or breaking) is an style of dance occasionally featured on The Next Step.
History[]
Breakdance originated amongst black and Latino youth as one of the three original elements of streetdance, and has since spread globally.[1] It is typically performed to hip-hop or funk music.[1]
West describes it as a mix of "top rock" and "down rock."[2]

- Although Henry is introduced as a hip-hop dancer, he is referred to as a breakdancer in Season 6, and has referred to himself as a B-boy.
