Lily Ann Short . is a hip-hop and jazz dancer on A-Troupe.

Lily enters Studio A with her mum, Summer, Finn and Kenzie. Lily feels like she is in charge of studio and confesses that she wants to be the leader of A-Troupe. She enters Studio 1 and she asked Noah, Henry and Jacquie if where is the Dytto's workshop is as her former family are having fun. She tells them that she and her mum owns Encore and that they are going to Regionals.

Season 7[]
Lily has left Encore Dance Studios and to make a new starts to forget about her former past. Lily enters Studio A starts dancing to Talk It to the Top to prove her new team that she us not the old Lily anymore. Lily confesses that Angela keeps bringing The Next Step down and formerly values Angela her as a mom.
After proving herself to the team, Emily make Lily dance captain with her former rival.
As a promoted dance captain, Lily goes to a competition with Richelle to ensure The Next Step at Nationals.

The Off Season 4[]
In a episode, it is known that Lily is include in a B-Troupe meaning that she was kicked out of A-Troupe and she transferred to B-Troupe and is no longer a member of A-Troupe. She goes to Nick office and tells him why she is on B-Troupe. When Nick finally tells her that she needs to audition like everyone, she finally understands.
