Jazz funk is a style performed on The Next Step, although admittedly minimally.
History[]
Jazz funk is an American subgenre of jazz which became popular in the 1970s and 80s, but became prominent in the English club-circuit during the mid-1970s. Jazz funk is danced to jazz funk music, which is characterized by a strong back beat (known as groove), electrified sounds, and synthesizers.[1]
