"Kingston's Audition" is the 10th episode of The Off Season: Season 2.

Synopsis

"In baby ballet and beyond, "basement dancer" Kingston has been working hard to improve his abilities. But will it be enough to win Stacy Carpenter's scholarship?"[1]

Plot

Kingston is called to do his audition for the Stacy Carpenter Scholarship. He confesses that he is using up all his spare time on training, and he really wants to win; Stacy Carpenter asks him to show "determination" through dance. When asked, Kingston says that his solo is inspired by his own story: he is a self-taught dancer, and he works to improve at every possible opportunity. As he finishes his solo, Stacy commends him and notes that he is now on her radar; Kingston is thrilled to have impressed her, and confesses that winning the scholarship would change his life.
