"I'll get to you when I get to you!" - The missing information in this section of the article is to be added. |
Trivia[]
- Aside from the title sequence, there are no white walls in this episode.
- Ozzy started dancing ten years ago.
- Heath started dancing eleven years ago.
- Angela is the host of a Dancemania-based podcast called "Dancemania Mania", under the pseudonym of "Baroness von Dance".
- This is the first mention of the podcast that later becomes a mini-series called "Dancemania Vidcast".
- Nick is an avid fan of Angela's podcast.
- Ozzy and Heath are apparently friends but still on bad terms which makes them frenemies.
- Cleo is a member of B-Troupe.
- Angela is now a Dancemania coach for A-Troupe.
- B-Troupe may be competing at Nationals.
- Summer may be joining B-Troupe.
- This is the first episode to use "Stand Up" during the end credits since "The Goodbye Girl".
Continuity[]
- Kingston compares his and Lily's relationship to Jiley, which is the relationship name of James and Riley.
- Lily has no idea who Jiley is, but that makes perfect sense because she has never met them before in real life or in the alternate timeline where Piper never came to The Next Step.
- Given that Kingston refers to James and Riley and their relationship as "Jiley", this acts as indirect confirmation that people do refer to James and Riley as "Jiley", something that Riley first mentions in Talking Heads in "Don't Stop the Party", albeit in reference to Season 1's A-Troupe; at that time, only Tiffany did, but seeing as Kingston never met Tiffany, it is likely that other Season 1's A-Troupe still refer to James and Riley as "Jiley".
- Heath references Ozzy's ongoing crush on Richelle.
- Richelle indirectly refers to her dislike of dances that have a storyline, which is first mentioned in "Contemporary Contempt".
- The light blue top that Lily wears in this episode is identical to one that Riley wears in Season 1.
- Nick talks about the large group "Shimmy Shenanigans" from Season 8 of Dancemania. This is likely to be the same studio (but not exact troupe) that had previously competed at Regionals (Twice) and Nationals.
Errors[]
- Although Kingston meets both James and Riley in "12 Hour Party People", "East Meets West", and "It's a Wonderful Life, Piper - Part 1" and "Part 2", it seems unlikely that he would know the details of their relationship since both had left The Next Step Dance Studio by the time he joined.
- It is possible that Kingston heard about their on-off but long-lasting relationship from Emily, Michelle, Daniel, West, Noah, Richelle, Amy, Piper or Henry, but the familiarity that he associates with their relationship implies that he knows more than just someone who has heard about it second-hand.
- However, given that one of Kingston's Talking Heads captions in "It's a Wonderful Life, Piper - Part 1" reveals him to be a "James Stan", it's possible that he knows much more about James and Riley and their relationship than is actually revealed on-screen.
- Additionally, as confirmed by Brittany Raymond via her YouTube channel, Kingston and Lily's relationship technically is not very similar to James and Riley's, seeing as the "Jiley" of the group means that the couple are together from the beginning, all their storylines revolve around each other and they never break up, except when they are broken up, all they do is talk about each other[2] whereas Kingston and Lily's relationship involves a lot of bickering, breaking up for the most trivial of reasons and Kingston and Lily only got together after Kingston had been on the show for two seasons. However, given that the rest of the couples on A-Troupe are involved in a love pentagon (Summer-Henry-Amy-Finn-Piper) and this more closely resembles the love square between Emily, Hunter, Michelle and Eldon in Season 2, Kingston could simply mean that they are the most consistent couple on A-Troupe at the time.
- This is one of many occasions when a character incorrectly states that it has been at least a year since the previous season; in this episode, Heath states that Ozzy's ongoing crush on Richelle has lasted for three years, but in accordance with the show's timeline, it can't have lasted longer than about one year. However, it is possible, but unlikely, that Heath exaggerated the truth in order to mock Ozzy.
