Trivia[]
- In this season, for the first time, almost every A-Troupe dancer specializes in two or more styles of dance, some of which are the same from previous seasons and some of which are new additions.
- This is also the first season to have more A-Troupers specialise in hip-hop than any other style.
- This is the first season in which A-Troupe does not compete at any Absolute Dance competition or qualifiers.
- This is the first season in which Myles Erlick does not appear, although Noah appears in an archive footage and later in What If? which is a part of Season 7, albeit taking place in an alternate timeline, and Dance Captain Diary (Mini-Series), which takes place between Seasons 7 and 8.
- The concept of Dancemania is presumably based on World of Dance, an international dance competition broadcast in the USA. Briar Nolet, Joshua Lamb and Denise Goping competed on the show in its third season, which aired at the same time that Season 7 was being filmed.
- This is the third out of four seasons to not feature the previous season’s opening sequence in its earliest episodes.
- As of Season 8, this is the last season not to feature the title sequence in the season finale.
