Yohance was either injured or taken ill (it is unclear which), resulting in his being admitted to the hospital.

Yohance shares a hospital room with Noah and has to deal with listening to Noah's endless talk of pre-kissing Amanda.[1]

Yohance is quite sarcastic and humorous. He enjoys doing crossword puzzles.[2]
